Denise Gunter

I'm a strong arts and education professional with a Master of Arts - MA focused in Art + Design Education from RISD, Rhode Island School of Design. As a hybrid educator with a demonstrated history of working and teaching in schools, museums, and the arts non-profit industry, I have designed and taught varied distance learning programs, maker spaces, museum exhibitions, “making in the gallery” workshops, interactive public programming as well as organizing numerous community-led artist initiatives.

In short, I curate creative [third] spaces in between our everyday. The spaces where we have moments to slow down and look, collaborate and process with others. Spaces in between are where community grows. They are where I seek to be.
